Don't believe the naysayers, the holidays are a great time to be a buyer or seller.
There are a couple of assumptions you can make about homes listed for sale right now:
Sellers can make their own set of assumptions, namely that any buyer going through your home is as motivated as they come, so be sure to get make your home easy to show!
If you're a buyer tired of the crowds, you won't find them at any open houses right now. People tend to take time off from projects like buying a property over the holidays, but sellers sure don't. The people out there looking and writing offers are serious buyers. All the tire kickers are home with their families.
